Starboard hull extension is nearing completion in mold. Note the extra layer of 18 oz
biaxial glass near the end of the part. Additional thickness at the hull extension to hull joint is desirable so I've added extra glass.
Work bench seem to get more cluttered as I collect all the necessary items to build the plug, mold and parts.
Starboard hull extension is complete. I've slightly modified the layout of core material. I also added a bit of white
gelcoat to the layup resin for a more finished look. The deck will include an access port so the nice white
gelcoat interior is just a simple touch since I have extra
gelcoat leftover.
